About Muskerry Family Practice
Muskerry Family Practice came into being in 2014 when Dr Shane Hurley and Dr Audrey Russell took over from Dr Con Kelleher in what was formerly The K Practice. Since then the practice has been thriving and growing and we now have 5 doctors providing a wide range of services to the people of Macroom, Muskerry and beyond. We are a teaching practice with strong links to University College Cork and the Cork GP Training Scheme.
We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including acute care, women’s health, men’s health, antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood and winter vaccinations and regular check-ups. We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD.
Our aim is to provide high quality, evidence based, patient-centred care. We want to engage and empower you to achieve the very best health outcomes for you. We are an inclusive practice and treat every individual with kindness, dignity and respect.
Our premises is on Railway View in Macroom. There is limited on street parking with disabled driver parking adjacent and also a large free carpark within a short walk. We are also a short walk from Macroom bus station. Our surgery is wheelchair accessible.

To ensure that we can continue to provide safe and timely care for our existing patients, our lists are currently closed to new patients.
